Calling all photographers, bird watchers, and nature lovers! Join the Los Angeles Public Library and LA Sanitation & Environment for an Earth Day BioBlitz at Hansen Dam! The goal of the BioBlitz is to engage the public in making observations of biodiversity in Los Angeles. The event will encourage observations of all wild plants and animals. Participants will take photos and upload them to iNaturalist, a community science platform. These observations help to give us a better idea of the wildlife in the area. We will meet at the Hansem Dam Recreation Center, near the Lake View Terrace Branch Library and Children’s Playground Area.
