Acadia National Park's Hawk Watch is a drop-in activity in the park. ANP rangers and volunteers from the Schoodic Institute collect data on a daily basis. Stop by anytime between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. (weather permitting), to look for and discuss migrating birds of prey. Stop at the Hull's Cove Visitor Center for more information. The site has a beautiful view of Frenchman Bay and Bar Harbor. Rocky granite at your feet (portable backpacking chairs are recommended to sit on). Dress warm because there is no protection from the wind and weather. In the parking lot, the Summit Center does offer light refreshments and souvenirs. For more information, visit the park's website at: www.nps.gov/acad
