Event Info: We are honored to host Dr. Mitchell Revalski, a Staff Scientist on the Wide Field Camera 3 team for the Hubble Space Telescope at the Space Telescope Science Institute.
Dr. Revalski's work offers a fascinating glimpse into cutting-edge astronomy. He is involved in instrument calibration for Hubble and leads projects on PSF modeling. His research focuses on understanding the evolution of galaxies by studying the properties of gas within them and measuring the energetic impact of mass outflows from supermassive black holes in active galaxies.
