Fascinated by the different galaxies and stars? Then come and learn more! This winter and spring the Kempsville Recreation Center is partnering with the Back Bay Amateur Astronomers Club to provide residents with a fun and interactive introductory series on the wonders above. Classes are two part - in class instructional, followed by a stroll outside to look up and see the night skies through telescopes provided. (Weather permitting). We will show what constellations and celestial objects are visible in the winter sky... Outdoor observing through telescopes - Various night sky targets will be viewed outside - Reservations are required.
