430 million years ago, what is now the City of Kenosha was part of a tropical reef in a warm, shallow sea teeming with life--the evidence is still here! Join the Kenosha Public Museum and the Kenosha Public Library in an exciting hunt for fossils along Lake Michigan where you will discover clues to Kenosha's ancient past. There will be a storytime to learn more about fossils and the people who find them, activities for kids, and you can help us keep Kenosha's lakeshore beautiful while we search for fossils!
