We are looking to do a long term citizen science project collecting and analyzing the water quality in all of Berks County. People can go out and collect as much or little information as they are capable. Parameters include but are not limited to; pH, temp., conductivity, nitrates, phosphates, chlorides, DO, silica, alkalinity, and what ever else a person feels comfortable collecting. We use the NASA sponsored program called GLOBE (Global Learning Observations to Benefit the Environment). Most of our protocols and QA/QC come from this program. People can get trained and use our equipment or use purchase and use their own.
