Every fall, millions of birds leave their breeding grounds in North America to spend the winter further south, having made a journey of thousands of miles just months before in the spring. Some make the most spectacular migrations of any animal in the world. Learn about how and why birds migrate, the perils they face, and what species you can expect to see moving through Connecticut in the fall.
Our speaker is Joe Attwater, Conservation & Education Coordinator, The Connecticut Audubon Society, Roger Tory Petersen Estuary Center in Old Lyme.
