EMERGE hosts a free lunch and learn on the first Thursday of each month, October 2026 through December 2027, at 12:00 pm ET on Zoom. Each session brings in a guest expert to look at how AI, geospatial tools, and community-collected data can answer real environmental and public health questions. Bring your lunch, anyone is welcome.

About the series:
- The EMERGE webinar series is a free monthly lunch and learn about where AI meets citizen science. On the first Thursday of each month at 12:00 pm ET, a guest speaker shares how they use AI, geospatial tools, or citizen science in their work over the lunch hour, and then opens the floor for questions and discussion.
- Sessions are open to educators, students, researchers, practitioners, and anyone curious about community-collected environmental data. Each one runs on Zoom and is either a short talk from the guest or a Q&A with EMERGE communications lead Caroline Nickerson.
