The first two weekends in February, come and meet SciStarter team member and Alaskan Erica Chenoweth in the atrium of the Anchorage Public Library in Anchorage, Alaska. Together we’ll explore how SciStarter.org can help you be a citizen scientist in our big & wild state, even in areas with connectivity challenges. We’ll also look at how you and your friends or coworkers can get involved in participating or planning events for Global Citizen Science Month. Science needs more eyes, ears and perspectives than any scientist possesses. Enter citizen science: a collaboration between scientists and those of us who are just curious or concerned and motivated to make a difference. SciStarter helps you discover opportunities to participate in this movement that's sweeping the globe. Meet a team member, get information on Citizen Science Month in April 2020 and learn how to join in and have fun making a difference!
