Saturday, April 16, is National Citizen Science Day and you can celebrate with the NC Museum of Natural Sciences at Prairie Ridge! Join us for hands-on citizen science activities, a showcase of area citizen science efforts, and more. You will also have a chance to participate in the 2016 NC Bioblitz-off. We’re competing with other sites across the state to see who can document the most plants, animals, and fungi on National Citizen Science Day. We have prizes for the top individual participants statewide, so bring a camera if you have one (or we can loan you one) and plan to go on a biodiversity hike!
Is Prairie Ridge too far away? You can participate in the Bioblitz-off at one of our partner sites!
