Easter may be over, but ants are still on the hunt for a feast! Ant Picnic is a citizen science opportunity studying the food preferences of ants at different times of year in different places around the world. Look at our local ant species under a microscope and record what foods they seem to prefer. Learning about the changing preferences of ants is an easy way to help scientists better understand changes to our global environment, including impacts of the climate crisis. All data you help us collect will be sent to real scientists at North Carolina State University’s Rob Dunn Lab!
