Becoming a citizen scientist can be as easy as using the phone in your hand! This program teaches participants how to use free smartphone applications such as eBird, Seek, and iNaturalist to submit data and contribute to worldwide citizen science projects. Through an indoor presentation and outdoor guided hike, Naturalist Aubrey Fulsaas will demonstrate how these applications can be an easy way to help scientists in their efforts to study and protect the environment. A smartphone is recommended but not required. This program will take place indoors and outdoors. Please read our current mask policy before participation. Members: $20 | Non-members: $30
