Get ready for NYC’s 8th City Nature Challenge! Will you help us show off our city’s biodiversity? In both the paved and green spaces of our city, many species survive and thrive. We’re asking all New Yorkers - residents, visitors, commuters, students, teachers, pedestrians, park lovers, parents, children, EVERYONE - to connect with nature and help us make as many iNaturalist observations as we can. Participation is EASY and FREE! Download the iNaturalist app to your mobile device. Then, between April 26-29, use the app to upload photos of organisms and the iNaturalist community will help you identify them. It’s as simple as that! The global City Nature Challenge is organized by the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and the California Academy of Sciences.
