The California Academy of Sciences and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County have issued a challenge: who can document the most biodiversity in one week, the San Francisco Bay Area or Los Angeles County? Our vote is for the Bay Area! YOU can help Slide Ranch answer this call to action from the California Academy of Sciences. Come to Slide Ranch on Saturday April 16 from 2:30-5pm to participate in the City Nature Challenge SF vs LA and celebrate National Citizen Science Day. We will train you to use the iNaturalist app and together will enjoy a special afternoon of Citizen Science using the app to make plant and animal observations around the ranch to study Bay Area biodiversity. 2:30pm-5pm Saturday April 16th!
