Help identify observations made during this year’s City Nature Challenge. Join the Community Science Program at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County for a Virtual ID Party. The City Nature Challenge is an international event in which over 200 cities around the world will be collaborating to share observations of nature. Identifying observations made during this time will help scientists in Los Angeles and all around the globe gain a better understanding of urban nature. This online event is open to identifiers of all experience levels. Museum staff will provide tips for identifying common animals found throughout Los Angeles County. Identifications will be made in iNaturalist. Create a free iNaturalist account if you don’t already have one (www.iNaturalist.org.)
