Irene Shonle, PhD, is the Horticulture Associate for Colorado State University Extension in El Paso County and has worked extensively with the Native Plant Master program. She is also a former Vice President of the Colorado Native Plant Society. Irene has taught in the field, in the classroom, and at conferences around the State; and she gardens mostly with natives at her home and in demonstration gardens.
