Science is all around us! On May 6th - 9th, 2020, COSI invites the Ohio community to participate in our very own BioBlitz! Working together virtually, we will use iNaturalist to collect as many different observations of plants, animals, and fungi as possible. All observations recorded in Ohio on iNaturalist during May 6 - 9, 2020 will count towards this BioBlitz. The best part is that these observations will be used by researchers to inform their work. Let's explore Ohio's biodiversity and contribute to scientific research! PLEASE NOTE: In light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, Ohio’s Stay-at-Home Order (https://bit.ly/OH040220), and the recommendations around social distancing, we encourage all participants to please exercise the utmost caution should you choose to take part in this volunteer opportunity. The Stay-at-Home order does allow for outdoor recreation, but it is imperative that while outdoors you continue following social distancing guidelines.
