Do you like protecting wildlife and spending time on the Delaware Bay beaches? If so, check out this volunteer opportunity.
Short term Shorebird stewards are needed to help protect critical shorebird foraging beaches along the Delaware Bay in Cape May and Cumberland Counties. Stewards educate beach goers as to the importance of the beaches to both horseshoe crabs and migrating shorebirds.
When: 5/9/2026 to 5/25/2026
Three shifts are available daily: 6am-10am, 10am-2pm & 2pm-6pm
Where: Beaches in Cape May County from Reed’s Beach south to the Villas, Fortescue + Thompson’s beach in Cumberland County.
