Worldwide Engagement for Digitizing Biocollections (WeDigBio) is a 4-day event that engages participants online and onsite in digitizing natural history collections.
Our onsite transcription event will be held Sunday, October 22, from noon - 4:00 p.m. at in room 2523 UCC (2nd floor, Old Capitol Mall.) Parking is available in the adjacent parking ramp. Hosted by the UI Museum of Natural History, this drop in blitz will offer the chance to experience a face-to-face meet up with fellow museum collection & history enthusiasts. Refreshments will be served and a behind-the-scenes tour of the museum will be available afterward.
