Become a part of Battling Birds: Panama Edition, a Bird Cams Lab investigation. The investigation's main goal is to understand the social dominance relationships of each species and create what is known as a “dominance hierarchy.”
To do this, over 1,000 people recorded when one bird attempted to take the perch or food of another bird (called a “displacement”) in video clips taken from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology's Panama Fruit Feeder cam.
Now it’s time to explore the data together. Join us to see what the data looks like using interactive visualizations.
Everyone is welcome! No prior experience or knowledge is needed. You only need a sense of curiosity to participate! Join today to become a part of this investigation co-created by viewers and scientists.
