The forest is home to a wide range of insect herbivores, but the majority of the canopy is out of reach and difficult to explore. Frass traps collect caterpillar (and other arthropod) poo that rains down from the canopy and can tell us something about the abundance and seasonal timing (phenology) of canopy arthropods.
Participate by setting out frass traps and submitting photos of what you find!
