The Great Annual Fish Count (GAFC) is a fun way to learn about local oceans. Every summer, divers and snorkelers across the world join to learn about marine diversity and conduct fish surveys as a part of REEF's ongoing Volunteer Fish Survey Project.
For this Great Annual Fish Count event, gather at the beautiful John D. MacArthur Beach State Park for a REEF fish survey dive or snorkel! After the survey, feel free to stick around for a light lunch provided by the park!
Morning check-in for the survey dive/snorkel is at 8:00am - 8:15am at the outdoor ampitheater located inside the park, 10900 Jack Nicklaus Dr, North Palm Beach, FL 33408
Please bring your own dive/snorkel gear and survey supplies.
If you do not have survey supplies, no worries! They can be purchased through our REEF website: https://www.reef.org/product-category/survey-training-materials
