Bring your own laptop and play Stall Catchers, an online game that helps identify blocked blood vessels in the brain, aiding scientists in Alzheimers research.
Want a chance to help scientists make progress in Alzheimer's research?
In the Loft, teens will play Stall Catchers, a research-based online game that helps scientists identify blocked blood vessels in the brain. These classifications support ongoing Alzheimer’s disease research and help accelerate discovery.
This is a live, guided Acts of Science: Connected event during Citizen Science Month.
Participants will be guided step by step to contribute to real scientific research alongside people everywhere, and hear from researchers involved in the project.
No experience is required. We will have limited laptops to use for gameplay, so bring your own laptop to ensure participation.
This event counts toward SciStarter's shared goal of 2.50 million Acts of Science.
This program is supported in part by the Science Across America Campaign, a collaborative initiative from HHMI Tangled Bank Studios and STAR Net.
