We are on the hunt for honeysuckle leaf blight! Help us by reporting and submitting photos of honeysuckle with distorted, yellow to brown dead patches on their leaves. Honeysuckle leaf blight, caused by the fungal pathogen Insolibasidium deformans, is a disease that affects many honeysuckle species, particularly invasive Asian bush honeysuckles like Amur honeysuckle (Lonicera maackii). We are interested in tracking the distribution and prevalence of the disease, as well as investigating the diversity, host range, and virulence of the pathogen.
