We are hosting an urgent humanitarian fundraiser for displaced refugee families and would be honored if HAS members could join us with telescopes for a night-sky viewing session. Event: Ramadan Refugee Fundraiser all proceeds to emergency shelter, medical aid, and food distribution (see our attachments to see the work we have done). Date/Time: Friday March 6, 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm Location: GALAXY PLAYLAND - 10788 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX 77072 What we're asking: 2–3 HAS members with portable telescopes 60–90 minutes of guided viewing (Moon, planets, visible constellations) Brief constellation tour and Q&A Donations from attendees (pass-the-hat) Prominent feature on all event flyers and social media Promotion of HAS membership to our donor base Acknowledgment during our appeal Would you be willing to join us for this cause?
