Join us on April 29 at 2:00 PM ET to learn about Budburst (https://scistarter.org/budburst), a community science project of the Chicago Botanic Garden.
Budburst provides opportunities for the public to contribute to research on human impacts on plants and ecosystems, including climate change, by collecting data on the timing of plant life cycle events and plant-pollinator interactions.
In this webinar, you’ll learn how to participate in Budburst as an individual, a parent sharing nature with your kids, or as an educator running a virtual classroom. Collect data on any plant, anywhere, anytime. Budburst supports all types of participation with simple and accessible data collection protocols, place-based activities, and educator functionality. We’ll showcase how Budburst can be used to engage different age groups from preK through adult with plants and nature.
Whether you're completely new to the project, you've participated in Budburst before and want to learn more about the new classroom features that support virtual learning, or you just want to learn more about phenology, there's something for you during this event.
