Join the Community Science Program at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County for an online training, "Introduction to iNaturalist."
With the current recommendation to stay at home, it's a perfect opportunity to get to know the nature that surrounds you. Learn how to safely document the wild plants and animals in and around your home using the mobile app iNaturalist and turn your photos into data points for science!
No experience is necessary. This training is perfect for beginners who want to learn how to use iNaturalist and participate in community science.
In this training, you'll learn the basics of adding observations to iNaturalist, how to participate in community science projects like the upcoming City Nature Challenge (April 24-27), and how to do all of this with the utmost safety during the coronavirus pandemic.
