Quoll movement ecology in north Queensland is poorly understood within the fragmented geography of the Wet Tropics. Much attention has been given to studying individual populations within the species known occupied range. This study being performed with the help of the Australian Quoll Conservancy proposes to study the potential links that the male of the species may use in a specified direction or corridor between colonies. This movement may involve adaptive behaviours due to local environmental variables.
