The K2W Jenolan Caves BioBlitz 2018 is a two-day, free community event involving a series of wildlife and habitat surveys, undertaken at various sites around Jenolan Karst Conservation Reserve. The surveys, which will be led by expert ecologists and accompanied by local guides, aim to raise community appreciation and awareness about biodiversity at the Jenolan Karst Conservation Reserve and the greater Kanangra-Boyd to Wyangala Link (K2W), as well as contribute new flora and fauna sightings to Bionet and Biocollect.
This BioBlitz is a collaboration between the Jenolan Caves Reserve Trust and the K2W partnership supported by The Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife through funding from the NSW Governments Environmental Trust- Bushconnect Program and Saving our Species (SoS) programs.
