Every year on the last weekend in April, the Greater Phoenix Area participates in the City Nature Challenge (CNC). This is a global effort to observe and document as much urban biodiversity as possible while engaging in community science. Using a free app called iNaturalist, anyone can get involved and share observations, anywhere from neighborhoods to local parks. In partnership with Educating Children Outdoors, SciStarter, ASU,and many more organizations in the Valley, join us at the Peoria Public Library for a free training and "bioblitz" to take part in the CNC! Be sure to create a SciStarter account and an iNaturalist account and add your iNaturalist user name to your SciStarter account settings where instructed. This way, all your observations count towards One Million Acts of Science!
