Lopphavet Marine Protected Area, Arctic Lux and Rissa Citizen Science are partnering for this outreach, and kelp forest restoration project. Accomodation (and dinner on Saturday) are offered to all the volunteers.
In October 2025, we started restoring kelp forest in Øksfjord.

We are returning to Øksfjord at a critical time, as kelp starts growing back.
