PROJECT BACKGROUND
Landslides take lives and destroy roads, buildings, and other property. Landslides occur in all environments and can be caused by natural processes like rain or earthquakes, or by human processes such as construction or mining. Your landslide reports help NASA scientists learn when and where landslides occur around the world.
