As part of continued programming with the Network of the National Library of Medicine (https://SciStarter.org/NLM) and the All of Us Research Program (https://joinallofus.org/nlm), SciStarter is hosting an event series in January, February and March to help you get started in one of three citizen science projects that advance real world research. Then, share your experiences with the scientists you helped and ask them anything!
How It Works
Each month, RSVP for two related events focused on a featured project. The first event each month features a live, online tutorial with a project scientist who will help you learn about and get started in his/her project regardless of your location or background! Engage in the project at your leisure, then join us back online exactly one week later to discuss results with the project scientist. The events will be moderated by SciStarter. Send questions to SciStarter (nfo@SciStarter.org) throughout the week or post them in chat during the Zoom events.
This "Lend Citizen Science Project Scientists a Hand. Then, Discuss the Results!" initiative in January, February and March builds on other collaborations between SciStarter, the Network of the National Library of Medicine and the All of Us Research Program, as well as culminates with a month of festivities in April: Citizen Science Month. Plan your Citizen Science Month activities now. Anyone can add or find an event or project at https://CitizenScienceMonth.org!
