100 Mappers and 10 Teams Wanted for Citizen Science Event in Nigeria: Register Now to be selected !!! About this Event The global Citizen Science Month comes up this April with exciting Citizen Science projects and events for everyone globally and here in Nigeria, Unique Mappers Network would be mobilizing 100 Volunteers and 10 Teams for a Mapathon event to generate generate Open Map Data to help the government and international humanitarian organizations respond to Vulnerable Flood Communities to save lives and properties in Nigeria. Highlight of events includes: Monday 12th April- Mappers Wanted Campaign and Publicity Tuesday 13th April - Mapathon Virtual Training for Team Coordinators & Volunteers Wednesday 14th April -Global Mapathon and Citizen Science Engagement-Virtual Thursday 15th April -Virtual Mapathon for Volunteers in Nigeria Friday 16th April -Virtual Mapathon Validation Citizen Science Certificate of Participation Shall be issued to All Registered and Active Participants Prize Awards to the Best Mappers ,Girl/Women Lead Mappers and Social Media event broadcasters Requirement for Participation : Personal Laptop and Smartphone/internet device Data Subscription and Refreshment shall be provided for Student Volunteers /Mapathon Team Centers Selection Preference Shall be given to Current Students in Higher Institutions in Nigeria ,Female Volunteers and unemployed Youths Supported by SciStarter for Citizen Science Month 2021 event in Nigeria https://scistarter.org/mapathon-for-vulnerable-flood-disaster-communiti-1
