Way back in May 2013, we had a crazy idea-gather Nature Nerds, McLaren park neighbors, scientists, and amateur naturalists all armed with the iNaturalist app and work together to find and identify as many different species as possible within McLaren Park. The first grassroots bioblitz was born! Join us on Saturday, April 16th to re-bioblitz McLaren back....and, oh yeah, it is also National Citizen Science Day...and the crown jewel in a City Nature Challenge we are holding the week of 4/14-4/21, pitting our nature lovers and users of iNaturalist against those of Los Angeles!
