This research project is looking at how children learn to process complex sentences, and how this learning relates to other thinking processes like memory and planning. The first part of the study focuses on these thinking processes, while the second part of the study looks at children's language, especially with complicated sentences when some pieces are missing. While children's language is developing, their thinking processes are developing as well, and this study looks at the interaction between these two milestones in development!
Parents will receive a certificate of participation for their child as a Junior Scientist in thanks for helping us find out about children’s language.
