MO DIRT- Missourians Doing Impact Research Together is a citizen science initiative to educate individuals on soil health and soil-climate interactions. One of the components of MO DIRT is to conduct soil health surveys once a month with volunteers on habitats of their choosing. The survey sites include natural (forest, woodland, prairie) or anthropogenic (croplands, pastures, grasslands) habitats. Participants of the training interested in joining MO DIRT to monitor soil health, will be provided with a soil kit and a manual.
