Join us as we celebrate National Moth Week with Dr. Richard Brown, Director of the Mississippi Entomological Museum and Distinguished Professor at Mississippi State University, who will lead us into the world of moths, including those that fly during the daytime (butterflies). Dr. Brown’s presentation will give an overview of the diversity and host plants of moths and their caterpillars, focusing on the species native to our area. We’ll then head outside to observe and identify moths and other nocturnal insects attracted to our black-lights, mercury-vapor light, and sheets. This event is family friendly and open to 'Moth-ers' of all ages! Friday, July 27th, 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm Cost: $10 per person; $25 per family Registration is required, contact Mitch at mrrobinson@audubon.org or 662-252-1155 Jul 27 2018, 7:30pm - 9:30pm
