Join LA County Vector Control’s Mosquito S.W.A.T. Lab and come on a hunt for mosquito eggs and larvae hidden in puddles so we can stop them before they become dangerous. We will take samples of standing water and then use a lens kit and cell phone to identify what we find. Reporting our findings through the GLOBE Observer app will help scientists forecast our communities’ risk of mosquito-borne diseases.
