Join us at a webinar to learn about the North American Green-Down Campaign to monitor fall color change with the NASA-sponsored GLOBE Program. There are two ways to participate: by collecting data using GLOBE’s Green-down protocol (monitoring leaves on an individual tree) and taking landscape photos for NASA’s PACE satellite mission using GLOBE’s Land Cover tool in the GLOBE Observer app. In this webinar you will learn how to support your audience as they monitor tree fall color change at your site and share data with a global network. We will share tips and resources for making this successful with your audience, and all attendees will be able to request a free green-down citizen science kit! You will also hear from NASA’s PACE terrestrial scientists, who are interested in comparing your ground-based photos of fall leaf color changes to PACE data.
