Phenology is the study of recurring plant and animal life cycle stages, or
"phenophases," such as leafing, flowering, breeding, and migration.
Be part of a team who monitors up to 6 plant species (saguaro, buckhorn cholla,
jojoba, mesquite, desert senna, and soaptree yucca) within the Preserve over a 3-
year time period to assess the impact of climate change on plant phenology. The
monitoring is completed at one of Jane Rao, Bajada, or Kovach Nature Trails
