Did you know contributing to Alzheimer’s research is as easy as playing a game?
In this hands-on event, we will connect virtually with participants around the country AND the scientists behind Stall Catchers.
After hearing from the research team and learning how to play, you will log in to participate in Stall Catchers, a game-like process that helps identify blood clots in images to advance Alzheimer’s research. Every image you review helps researchers analyze data faster and move research forward! Library staff will be on hand for assistance.
No experience or special equipment is required. All you need is a computer, tablet, or smartphone with Wi-Fi and curiosity! A limited number of laptops will be available, but participants are encouraged to bring a Wi-Fi connected device from home. Recommended for ages 13+.
This event is part of the Acts of Science: Connected signature series for Citizen Science Month 2026. During the events, we'll learn about a project, hear from a project scientist, and do the project together. Your questions will be answered in real-time, too!
