Help document local biodiversity during a 24-hour community bioblitz centered on the Racine Public Library. The program begins with a short introductory talk at 1:00 PM explaining what a bioblitz is, why biodiversity data matters, and how anyone can participate. Over the next 24 hours, participants are invited to observe and record plants, insects, birds, fungi, and other wildlife in the area surrounding the library using iNaturalist. Observations will be collected in the Racine Public Library’s iNaturalist group, Cataloging the Wild: RPL’s iNaturalists. Participants can contribute at their own pace, whether for a few minutes or throughout the full 24 hours, and help create a shared snapshot of local life.
