Calling all Kentuckianans*! We invite you to explore water through images and maps. Our goal is to view water—from raindrops and puddles to creeks and rivers—through multiple lenses. Welcome to the Kentuckiana/Ohio River Visioning Project! In collaboration with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)-supported Citizen Science, Civics, and Resilient Communities project, we aim to provide community members with opportunities to: Celebrate water in Kentuckiana. Photograph water during rainy and sunny days in Kentuckiana. Use images to tell stories about rainwater, including extreme precipitation. Consider how rivers influence our life stories.Explore the confluence of art, culture, and the environment along our waterways.*Kentuckianans are those who live in one of the Indiana or Kentucky counties served by the Louisville Free Public Library (LFPL).
