This is a FREE workshop for individuals interested in volunteering in 2020 for Salamander Search. Salamander Search is a citizen science project with a goal to create a network of trained volunteers working to find and record observations of salamanders in Nebraska. In addition to observation information, participants may collect specimen swabs and water samples. The information collected from this project will help determine the status of salamanders in Nebraska. This project is a partnership of Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and University of Nebraska- Lincoln. This workshop will be lead by Dennis Ferraro from University for Nebraska- Lincoln and Colleen Roth-Groleau from Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.
