Join SPAWN to celebrate Citizen Science Day and receive training to be involved in the daily monitoring of our endangered juvenile coho salmon! Volunteers will be trained with the basic skills required to join daily monitoring throughout April and May. Learn how biologists handle fish and collect data on their health and population. We also learn about many of the other species that call our creeks home, including three-spined stickleback and Pacific lamprey. We request that all volunteers commit to monitoring at least one day a week for the month of May.
Come get your hands wet and help us count fish!
