Wildly popular video games EVE Online and Borderlands 3 are doing their part to turn their players into citizen scientists! Mini-games integrated into the worlds of these games let players help analyze real data. On National Video Game Day (Sep 12), we’ll hear from the creators of these two citizen science mini-games, to learn how they did it and what impact the players have had on research so far. New events will be added as they are confirmed so we recommend that you bookmark this link https://scistarter.org/go/LIVE and check back regularly to review and register for upcoming LIVE events! SciStarter LIVE is a weekly event where you can join us on Zoom or watch the live stream on SciStarter’s Facebook page as we work through a citizen science project together. We’ll demonstrate the project and answer your questions. If you register, we will email you a YouTube link to the recording. Before the event, you’re invited to sign up for a SciStarter account at https://scistarter.org/login if you haven't already (optional) and have a look at the featured project.
