A Western Australian organisation collecting sightings of sharks and rays in the Ningaloo Reef/Exmouth Gulf Region to record baselines of biodiversity and distribution. We welcome submissions from fishermen, divers, beach goers, surfers etc and require simple details of the sighting eg. Date, Location, photo. Submissions can be anonymous and details of location can be kept confidential. We are specifically targeting sightings of rarer rays such as sawfish, wedgefish, guitarfish, bowmouth guitarfish. We are also collecting sightings of rarer sharks such as leopard sharks, angel sharks, epaulette sharks, thresher sharks, oceanic white tips etc. We are equally as interested in any feeding/predation events or sightings of neonate(newborn)/juvenile sharks or rays.
