Join the River Institute at Rotary Creek to learn about the history of this man made habitat and how it’s helping fish populations, like the cutlip minnow (a species at risk). Biologists from the River Institute will be sampling for fish in the creek and teaching you how to ID them and their importance. Students will have an opportunity to see how research scientists collect data on fish (length measurements, weight, etc).
