Springfield Lakes Nature Care Inc. is inviting you to help us Invest in Our Planet on #EarthDay, Friday April 22 starting at 7pm.
We would like you to ask friends, family, neighbours & community leaders or groups to put a team together to join us to Invest in Our Planet have some fun & learn some new things about the environment & our planet.
Tickets to the event cost $50 plus GST for a team of 5 people (roughly $10 per person). The event will include Guest Speaker Dr. David Manning - Soil Scientist & Luise Manning Secretary of ACSA Qld Chapter, who will present a short talk about citizen science activities hosted in the region.
Each team will play against TEAM EARTH in a Trivia style event.
Quest Springfield Central Apartments has proudly sponsored the event.
Teams are welcome to bring some of their groups advertising materials to network & promote their group or citizen science project.
Prizes of a nights accommodation & gift hampers.
Light Refreshments will be served. This is a no alcohol event.
